I
am sending some photos of my 1971 Ridge Runner. Just had a new
top made by
a local canvas shop. Sure does class it up !! Finally got most
of the kinks
out and it is proving to be a reliable ride. The hydraulic clutch
controls
proved to be a nightmare. Ended up having a machine shop manufacture
a new
piston for one of the cylinders and that seemed to solve most
of the
problems. It will still sporadically lose pressure on one side
during
operation, but a few pumps on the handle solves that problem.
Starts and
runs in the coldest weather, and sure is cozy in there. It is
a guaranteed
head turner wherever it goes. Nor real fast, but pure style.
I did get a lot of original brochures and manuals with the machine
