The T-20 Transmission first built by Borg-Warner, and ATV-O-MATIC, now built by Skid Steer Corp. has been used in thousands of Amphibious All Terrain Vehicles including Max II, Max IV, Attex, Hustler , Starcraft, Swamp Fox, Camel and many other manufactures. It as a popular choice of custom machine builders, since it gives forward, reverse, brakes, steering all within one unit.

Remove sun gear.

Remove thrust washer.

Pull center plate away from case half.

Note: Center plate may be "stuck" tap input shaft to release.

Remove top band loop from pin.

Lift sun gear up and away from the input shaft.



 

 

 

 

 

 

 Remove clip as shown by red pointer.

 Use a screwdriver and channel locks to remove clip.

Pull input shaft out of center of output shaft.

Pry oil seal out from output shaft:

 

Note: This seal is included in the T-20 major kit

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remove snap ring from output shaft, as you did in other case half, see PAGE 2

Repeat steps from Page 2 to remove seal and case bearings, as you did on other case half.
