Rob,
I did have some problems, and Pat Miller agreed to take back the machine however I believe he has made some changes for the better which I can not say commit on because I have not seen yet. Some times improvements only come from hard lessons.
The only thing I can say is to test it before you buy it. Make sure it does just what you want and then you'll be a happy camper.

I had heard that the Land Tamer engine is a low mileage used engine or reconditioned engine. Is there any basis of truth to this rumor? |

I don't know. If Pat Miller was building the Land Tamer with anything other than new engines, don't you think it would be advertised as such? |
