I don't think it would be too hard to make one. I can't remember but I think the max uses a screw type of lift if I'm not mistaken. I have a Geo Metro & it has a screw type of jack and it lifts the car very easy & pretty fast too by hand. You can put an electric motor on it which is probably what the max has and it would be a lot faster and easier. But I bet you could make one that you could crank by hand and it would probably be just as fast, lift just as much for the application for a lot less money, no wiring and no electric motor to fail on you. You probably won't be lifting 4000 - 6000#'s with it id say 1500 pounds would be cranked fairly easily with a screw type of lift for the dump body. |

If you have a winch and a role bar, put a pulley on your bar and a hook on the front of your dump box use your winch to lift the box or flat bed. We built a similar setup to load an elk into the back of our ARGO using the front mounted winch |
