I’m currently in the market for an ARGO and have even persuaded my wife we can afford one, however with this bring my dilemma. The ARGO Big Foot was my first choice for size a value, however after a few weeks of researching I’m not sure if the Conquest is the way to go. Does the extra room the Conquest offer out way the performance and fun of the Big Foot. Primary use will be recreational for my two young boys and I. Live on a shallow lake so will spend most time in the water or on the ice. No plans for hunting. Any advice out there? |

Aaron- You might want to look at the Response. The 8-wheelers will give you more room for yourself and the boys - especially as they grow up. (Back seat in an Argo 6-wheeler is cramped.) However, the longer machine is not as easy to transport. Conquest is a good machine, but Response provides the same amount of space for less money, and I like the air cooled engine. I have too many radiators to take care of as it is. I've owned a Vanguard2 and now have a Response. The Response is better in all respects except portability. Not a big deal unless you need to haul the machine from one place to another regularly. Easier to steer, plenty of power, lots of carrying capacity, and as fast as I care to go without springs. (Haven't tried the Response in the water with an outboard yet, but on just tires it handles better in the water than the Vanguard.) Sorry I can't talk about the Bigfoot. |

You left out the Response model (briggs powered 8 wheels) Now you have 3 choices, not including Max ATV's. |
