I was just at orrs all season vehicle today and saw the brocure for the new 6x6 conquest with a cammo upper body and it was awsome. It should be for sale soon. It is just a bigfoot with a cool cammo design and the liquid cooled kaw in it, and of course the higher hood to accomadate the motor. they will list for approximatly 10,000.00 to 10,500.00 brand new. their is alot of zeros in that price but it is a sweet machine. |

I wonder if it will be any faster than the bigfoot. The conquest and Response have the same variations in engines but the Conquest is no faster. Does it really justify the 2K+ price difference? |

With the Conquest they regeared the transmission to take more advantage of the torque the Kawaski engine makes. They have different part numbers. Mark |

Mark I did think about the torque issue after I posted that comment. The increased torque would be nice if you were in a real hunker down situation. In all honesty I feel that the bigfoot performs just fine the way it is. If they would regear the machine to travel a max of 27-30 mph to try and keep up with the quads on a straightaway is where my ideal would be |

Anyone have a copy of the brochure? I sure would like to see what it looks like. There is no info on odg's website. argogeru did you see the specs? Anything else new on it? Chuck |

chuck, All i saw was a two page brochure with pictures of it. their wan't any specs. Becky Orr told me it is the same as the 8 conquest with only 6 tires. the cammo was sweet and I will probably buy a new upper body for my bigfoot in the cammo for duck hunting, it will blend perfectly with the normal marsh. I personally wouldn't pay 2k more for this unit. It is just a bigfoot with the kaw in it, more maintenence and potential breakdowns. complication on one of these machines means more headache for the way I use them. |

Geru, I would have to agree about getting a new top. Did it have a specic pattern or just generic camo? |

ANY pictures?Any..anywhere on the web yet?Is the machine called a "Conquest"even though it is only a 6x6 and they already are using the name for another machine?Hmmmm, well it does have the 25 inch Rahwahide III tires like the Bigfoot, right?Anything on a "new" transmission while you were up there? It seems odd to me that "it" is the only new machine. No innovation like I was told was "in the works".Still...I am curious to see it...and the camo body ODG has come up with.Somebody...anybody...got a picture for us? |

Thanks! Let us here know something. This is hopefully looking good for all of us in the AATV world.I only wish that a REAL AATV would come out that normal people can afford.I've asked the people at Triton about a 6x6 PREDATOR.They said it was not $$$$ sound to produce since an 8X8 WOULD COST THEM/US THE SAME TO PRODUCE AND BUY.I only hope that ODG gives us something new and exceptionally bold. Just got back from the u.p. hunting. Yes they are calling it the conquest. same transmission, and the 25 in. rawhides. the camo pattern is not one that I have seen before, but it is definitly not generic. The bigfoot 8 wheeler that has plenty of power will be the next bold thing odg puts on the market in my opinion but it will be a while. the 6 conquest is not 'bold' it is just a few thousand cheaper than an 8 conquest for those who want a cheaper liquid cooled machine. haha |

I posted message elsewhere...could swap out my existing 16hp motor on Van II, for 20hp B&S for about $1500. Makes me wonder if the "new model" isn't right there in my garage already. |

I stopped by an Argo dealer today who would not let me have a new brochure. He said that they had them but his boss had them under lock and key because they had not gotten the machine yet....Yea right. Any way he was telling me that the machine is going to be more than $10,500. Don't understand why the beefy price if ODG was just changing from the Briggs 18 to the Kawasaki 20. You can't tell me that the engine would be over $3500.00 if you bought it on the street. Is ODG or the dealer being GREEDY. Russ |

As I said in another posting, there is no price diff between 18 and 20 Briggs & Stratton...but what I had read was they were replacing it with Kawasaki, radiator, whole nine yards???? |

I just left the big outdoor show in PA where the new 6 wheel conquest was on display. It is a nice looking machine but the MSRP was a mere $300.00 less than that of the 8 wheel conquest. I did take many photos that hopefully I will get to Richard in the next day or two. Russ |

I watched my friends in a Bigfoot and an Avenger pull fully loaded trailers about a mile through the water on a camping trip on the weekend. I have never tried this but it sure looked impressive. People with Quads have to have a boat stashed in the woods and transfer everything over, and then leave their quad behind. 6 @ 8 wheelers Rule! |
