Got her home and I must say it is the BEST Amphicat I have seen in a LONG Time !!
This guy rebuilt EVERYTHING !!
I really hated getting it from him as he only sold it due to losing storage for it !
Everything in it is NEW !
Just need to put the tranny back together that has NEW bands in it.
Should be a fun toy to say the least ?

That is Bed liner spray. It is the Color Red and Black Not under paint but the color made into it. The Whole body is done Inside and Out !
Tuff as Crap and Yes it is sticking.
He Paid A lot of money to have it done that is for sure !!
I just fired the engine up tonight and it sound Great as It is New also. |

I also have all the badges for it that he restored. The tranny has all New bands in it.It Wasn't seal up yet so I got to look inside it and Yes it is NEW !
The little lady think's it is the neatest thing and wants me to keep it but if I get the rite offer I will sell it to get another Max II.
But who knows ??

I need to get 1 bearing for it and that is it. Also I need to find Lube info on it and the shim spacing for the driven clutch BUT Since I was a BAD BOY I can't get this info off the other site so I will have to research it.
T's me off every time I must tell ya !
But if some one has this info please pass it on to me.
I just feel bad for the guy who I got it from as he put so much time and money into this only to give it away due to no storage room to finish ! |

The engine is 420 CC that roll over to around 13 HP
More than enough to run this 200 LBS machine around ! |

It was on Ebay for some time.
I also seen one just like it here on an OLD post that I thought was it but it had the other tranny in it.
I have the New bearing coming for the tranny support and a New belt also on it's way.
Need to redo the exhaust as the way he has it running it will Melt the body after some run time !
Just working out the bugs and miswork done and it should be up and running very soon.
Engine is Strong as it is new and I gat the tran's adjusted so we will see ?
Also need to change the way the wheels are mounted and so on. Plus Paint them.
I will keep you all updated as work moves forward. |

No someone beat e to it !
My problem is I work 40 + a week AND run M shop on the side ! So taking time to go after a machine is tuff. Unless it is close to me.
The StarCraft I am redoing is taking ALOT of time as the Body work is Killing me ! Man I hate FibeGlass !!
But it will come around.
Plus I have a 69 Road Runner needing to get finished AND some old Wheel Horse tractors wanting attention AND customer cars needing Finished AND ! Well o get the picture ! |

LOL I get it!! I had my brother and a friend that's retired go to pa and get that green tomahawk and my other buddy"farmer" go to wi after a green superchief. Cost me a lil money but well worth it!! Same guy bought that superchief off the banned site from Michigan. Hell of a deal on that one!! I'm a 50 hour week guy myself. Makes it real hard and I have machines stored in 4 different places!! |
