I thought the new Argo tires were supposed to be AWESOME ? Why did you change them ? What tires did you use ? |

Your Frontier looks great. Did you get one with the new brake lever? The Frontier's performance in snow is awesome. Those look like Gator tires that you put on it. I'm not a betting man, but this time I'm willing to bet my ocean front property in Arizona that you will come running back to the factory tires. Gators (or Vampires) do nothing in water and really aren't much in the mud for a 6x6. Remember they are made for a 4x4 quad that digs deep in mud. An amphib relies on flotation and the swimming action of the tires to help it through the deep mud. In high torque conditions, I've had Gators spin on the rim since they fit loose compared to the factory tires. That's my experience with the aftermarket tires but maybe they will suit your terrain well. |

they are super swampers 25x 13.50's. a little more ground clearance and a heck of alot cheaper than tracks. the factory tires didnt do much in the thick alaska mud. i still have them and will see how they do in the summer, but the swampers are awseome in the snow its amazing what it will climb in the snow. |

Nice Frontier! Hey Will, give us a front shot of you Frontier with those wide Swampers, I'm curious how they look compared to the 10" Argo tires. |

Guessing by the pic they're not vampires. Matt Oxender ran 25 vampires on his bigfoot. Jon Hoath ran 22" swampers on argo 8's and a maxII. Jon said his wouldn't swim at all. |

Will, I guess you used argo 9" wheels? When you get a chance can you give us a report on how they swim? Congrats on your new machine, I know you're having fun in it. |

Thanks Roger it will be awhile for a swimming report its -32 below zero for a few days. And we have way to much snow (22" in two days!) I need tracks The wheels are aftermarket 10" wide, they were to balloned on the 9" wheels and the sidewalls were to suceptible to damage in my opinion. |

WILL- nice machine; I've yet to see one in person but your pic really shows the front & rear approach angles this is a real improvement of the lower tub from the older atvs. No more bobbing against beaver dams while floating or plowing mud or snow with the lower body before the tires can get it up and over it . |
