Well, the locals have sort of figured out I'm going to replace my Van II. Suddenly everybody wants to buy it. The dealer offered me $2,500 trade in which wasn't of interest. I'd give it to my son first. I'm wondering if anybody out there has an opinion of value? Its 2000 Van II, 110 hours, no body issues, professionally maintained(meaning I don't do it), two sets of tires and rims, a lot of miscellaneous accessories but not biggies. |

John, Both Kelly Blue book ( http://www.kbb.com) and NADA (http://www.nadaguides.com) have online value guides. they are listed under motorcycles. Neither has a means to value options, but you can get a ball park idea on the base machine and maybe figure accessories at 1/2 value of new. 110 hours is not very many hours. My first max (a 1994 Max II 450T) had over 200 hours the first year. |

That trade in sounds about $500 or $600 low. Just take Fred's advice and look it up on kbb.com and nadaguides.com under motorcycles. The values often vary between the two where I live but they get a person in the ballpark. If you already have people wanting to buy it then you are lucky and should get what you want for it. |

Thanks for advice. I'm leaning towards giving it to my son after all is said and done. |
