O.K. Dave, What Argo? what motor? do you have a winch. Have you tried using an outboard motor? Do you prefer using a windshield? and roof? Do you go to rides like the Ledges,Olean,Whispering Pines or ones further south that I only read about through Brandon Price etc. Forgot about Haspin Acres, I haven,t been there yet either but I keep watching and re-watching John Schwab,s movie. Most of you talk about tracks with snow!! What about mud. We don't get enough snow here in the middle of KS to worry about tracks. But hunting in the marsh and river bottoms I wonder if tracks would help get through easier? Does anybody use tracks in this manor? |

Tom, I use my argo 6x6 vanguard in the U.P. of Michigan. Thanks to the local beavers they have created a 2.5 mile ride during the deer season that consists of a muddy, marshy ride with water about 3 foot deep. I use the standard tracks on my machine. I also pull an 8ft jon boat with my hunting gear in it. I float my machine with the jon boat through the deep water holes. Tracks are the way to go. They have never let me down. |

Thanks Dave, I've been thinking about getting a set for my Avenger, just that they're not cheap, but maybe that's better than getting stuck out duck hunting |
