Even an old Playkay can become a Workkat... After many hundreds of hours of taking apart, fixing, ajusting, testing, restart the same process... It is now being used to work and have fun... Playkat's are not in the industrial grade but after many modifications our's is starting to give a good response... A 1973 Rotax 440 tuned up, new front drives for the 2 tracks, new tires, re-inforced clutches, etc... The 5 feet plow and the 3000 pound capacity winchs makes it our wood machine to haul the trees, clean the mess and let us have fun... We admit that there is alot of better made machines but with a total cost of 1000$ cdn for the kit its a bargain... Ok 2 units needed to make one... Still looking for those low cost replacement track sprokets teeths... Still need to adjust the new driving system... But its alot of fun to restaure ! Michel |
