David, I am interested in a body for my attex, are you going to build them out of plastic or glass, are these the same molds that richard was going to make bodies last year? Are you going to do them for the same 400$ that richard was doing? Sam Preston |

I would assume he was talking about David Copeland. He is an Attex enthusiast, that has or had his own website. He also advertised to buy most anything Attex.I have never dealt with him and I cant remember the web page, but it had history, pics, wanted and for sale, and a guestpage.Thats all I remember ,Eddie |

I have been told by many people that Copeland never bought the molds. He told me a couple years back that he owned them, but last week he emailed me and told me that they were melted down years ago. He is fraud. His site was attexatvs.com, but it has been taken down. Who knows why. If it was David Copeland posting the original message above, then it was a scam. Richard Clark used to own the molds and sold them to a gentleman who he thought had the name Sam with an unfamiliar last name, something like DiGerrano or DeGenero or something along those lines. He supposedly is a collector and I've been trying to find the gentleman. If I cannot find the molds, I will start making a new mold with a new, updated design of the Attex. The only problem is that it will not be a direct replacement for older bodies and the mold I make will not hold up to a large production of bodies because it will not be constructed out of aluminum. |

Andrew: I think his name was Dave not David. I know that that guy tried to get some bodies made, put out the word on this board, got a few people who wanted bodies, he did the work to get it set up. Then he asked for a deposit from all the people who said they wanted them.. No one ever paid for what they said they wanted. I understand Dave got mad, threw molds away and deleted his profile and messages off this board. Anyone else remember this, or how long ago it was? I would guess about 2 or 3 years. I hope I am wrong. As many of you know I have been on this board for about 10 years. Don't do much with my machine anymore, but still like them and the guys. Phillip Osborn LA |

i hope that's the case, but unfortunately no one knows...there's not much else i can really do to find them. one probably would have to make a reverse mold to remake any bodies. |

Is the original poster to this thread still a member on this forum? Does anyone recall the man who purchased the Attex molds from Richard Clark? Supposedly, these molds are still in existence, but we need to figure out the person who bought them off of Richard... |
