Brian, I'd be interested in riding. I recently moved to Wrightwood in the San Bernadino mountains where there are trails 1 mile from my house. Email me. John |

Hi Bill, There's a place i mile before you hit town thats called "The Levels", on your way in Hwy 2 its a large turnout with the ski resort billboards next to it, and it goes back a ways. I was there this weekend, only to discover a dept. of forestry 'no motorized vehicle' sign (but its not really monitored..people go in all day) I'm looking for a good lake/swamp etc to try out still. cheers, john |

Try Littlerock Dam located just South of Palmdale, Hwy 14 North to Pearblossom Hwy, go East, follow the signs. Littlerock Dam is where we did a "Shoot" for an article about Mudbogging for Four Wheeler Magazine in 1984. The article featured Chandler's Big Foot and several others. We used a Cushman Trackster as the Cable Carrier and Camera Platform. There's real good Mud behind the Dam when the water is down low. |

Alfred, Thanks for the tip. I have gone to littlerock lake about 6 times now and even got my mom (who is 81 now) in my Argo in the water. Aside from the issue with the offroad trails being closed due to the spotted toad, the place is great. Any 6x6 ers in So-Cal who want more info feel free to contact me at john.pat@verizon.net |

I presently have a 96 Conquest 8x8 that I just went thru the bearing and chains. Have a large OHV area at the end of my street, maybe 300+ acres, not much water in the ravine. Good trails. Private land. I'm in Riverside, Ca. Looking to get tracks and do some snow trips in the local mts. next winter. |
