Imagin your in the most forbiding deepest darkest steepest foggiest Forest or Swamp not met for Man nor machine and suddenly you hear GAS!! AND GO!!!! You then hear the rumble of V-Twins and see Glaring head light beams piercing the fog of night. You then wonder what it could be knowing that not even the nastiest tallest Quad or truck could penetrate the unknowning depth of the swamp, the thick tangle of the thicket, the narrowness of the wash outs. The sheer deepness and steepness of the root, rock, and log, strewn ground. You've seen trucks and Quads fale in much more forgiving terain and and that this place would just destroy them rendering them unrecoverable. You then catch a glimse of what at first looks like a mad Rhino defiantly crashing through the forbiding imposibilities. As the machine draws near you are able to come to a Sudden conclusion! IT'S!!! a MAX!!!! An ARGO then Breaks through the unforgivingness of the Forest and you relize that they are the Vanguard of the Most Extreme 6x6 riding groups ever made up from members from NY,MI,IN,OK,OH,and PA. In this group roll overs and parts breakage are common and their comradery is legindary. I should know since I'm their newest member. My initiation included over several rides three desmounted tires, one split tire, one roll over, four broken tapper lock axle bearings, one chain tensioner, and one full set of chains and I cant wait to do it again! My Max never let me set even with all the damage it sustained. It gives New meaning to " TAKE IT TO THE MAX AND STILL DRIVE IT BACK" Names and Riding locations are unofficialy insider information only so please dont ask. But maybe someday you'll be invited. All I can say is BE PREPARED! BE VERY PREPAIRED!!! and build a Roll Cage. |
