We had a great ride yesterday! About a dozen Argos,my Max and 2 Quads showed up. I took a picture of 8 machines before Don Sills of Sills Argo in Brighton showed up with a brand new Avenger and two more guys in their 8 wheelers and the 2 quads. The Avenger is a spectacular machine. Almost everybody got towed at least once including me. No shortage of people to tow the Max out BECAUSE THEY ALL WANT A PICTURE OF THEM DOING IT! We hope to do it again before the end of June Stay tuned. |

tricountytrail, the copper ridge trails is something like 75 miles south of you i think. or thereabouts. they host the northeast trail riders jamboree in july, as well as other events our 6x6 and 8x8's are welcome at. it's always a great time! check the events links here on route6x6 and www.copperridgetrails.com |

I have been to copperridge many times but not with my 6x6 yet. I was asking about Pt. Petrie in Prince Edward County. I found out it is in Prince Edward County. The main town is Picton. The county is an island or penninsula that hangs out into Lake Ontario between Belleville and Kingston. Thanks Warren for the info. I have a cottage across the lake in Wilson, NY. I know it is 26 miles across to Toronto, I think a lake crossing in the MAX IV would be a little challanging. But it is probably a 4.5 hour drive around the lake. |

TriCounty- I have returned from the States via the Cape Vincent ferry. Short hop to Wolfe Island then the big ferry to the dock in Kingston, Ont. The ferry out of Cape Vincent as late as last year could not handle anything longer than my 10 foot trailer towed by my wife,s Explorer. Even that short hop would be challenging in the MAX IV but you would make the news on both sides of the border. W.Philip |

The Head Mechanic at Don Sills Argo took 3 generations of his family and their Argos and Don with a machine pulling a trailer and a few more of us on a riding campout. We had a great time and proved that no amount of dust or mud can make a Mossy Oak Avenger look dirty. |

The Eastern Ontario 6&8 Wheelers had a ride on the weekend. Too dry, very hot, not much mud. But beautiful people, great food, cool night for camping, had lots of fun. The guy that complained about me entering the water too fast with him in the machine last trip gave three of us a ride through the bush trails at full throttle, that we won,t forget for a while! Next Ride More MUD guaranteed! W Philip Cox

Ha! I know exactly where this was. One of his comrades was driving the tracked 8x8. Both of them looked to be having a great time. I can only imagine that Cam here is lowering himself down to assist his 8x8 buddy who has obviously made a poorly judge right-hand turn down the Bear Claw.... |

John Schwab-Thanks for the kind words. Roger seems to have my pic. coming and going at the same time. Steve Auger,it was worth a try. Mike you have it right I'm sure and his buddy with the tracked Avenger is Rick. I still think the way the rope is tied to the Frontier might be overkill. I was happy to see a few Attexes at the Ledges this year. I hope you enjoyed the event. W.Philip Cox |

Hey Philip, I had a visit with Cam (London Argo) today and told him he was famous (pic on Route 6x6). Asked him what he was doing? He said to say that he was acting like a wimp, afraid to look down that steep cliff without being tied to something he could trust. So he picked his Argo |

Hello Ray-I am pleased to hear that Cam admits that he's a wimp. But he can sure make that Frontier go where he wants it to. I really enjoyed his company in Ohio and hope to ride with him again. Maybe we can get you and your Bushwaker to come too. W. Philip Cox |
