Geee, it is difficult to know when these rides are scheduled, unless you check this site often. Suggestion: Maybe someone could use the "Registry" to obtain names/addresses and send out notices via e-mail or snail mail. Maybe a better turnout, if more people knew in advance. Thanks Soryy I missed the last one in April 05. Craig Wentling, BIGFOOT II |

Plan one for this fall when it cools down and I'll be there. |

I say lets have one. I wouldn't mind another ride at Rockport Offroad Park also, if more people will come. |

I'm up for a group ride at Deepwater. Eddie I'd also come up there to the Rockford OHV if you think it would be worth the trip. I've got a buddy in Freeport that I could visit and drag along. You are also invited to come down here and go to the places we have around Marion, IL. There is a lake where I go daily that I would like to see if the Avenger can exit the water. Since the water level has dropped I am unable to climb out at several places where I could earlier in the year. It is just small trails with a lot of rock or limestone banks. The other places are old strip mines. Nice for a weekend but nothing as extensive at Deepwater or Haspin Acres. I'd also like to get together a group for Evarts KY for a late fall or winter ride. Since the town allows atvs on the streets and as a mode of transportation in town it is easy to get a room then drive the atv for the rest of the time there. |

I'll be ready for a ride anytime I have a used Max. 6x6 action has been slow, nothing like the good ol' days. Riding or even talking about riding is a rare subject. I don't know if it's the slow economy, gas prices, or just the hot dry weather. Riding should pick up this fall as it usually does. Recreatives is claiming good sales this summer (any dealers want to confirm/deny?) but I don't think sales are anything to brag about. After Labor Day I'll be going back to New York to pick up some Maxs for the fall season. Then I'm taking one to a customer in Colorado and taking several days to vacation in the mountains with some white water rapids and sight seeing. Off-roading in my Powerstroke will be almost as good as six wheeling. |

Have any of you guy's been to St. Joe State Park down at Park Hills, MO. They have over 2,000 acres of riding area, 800 acres is mine tailing sand flats, lots of trails in the woods and there are also several lakes and lots of Mud. I haven't had a 6x6 in there but have made many a trip with my 4 wheeler. They have some very nice camping facilities the last time I was there also. |

I have been there. It is a nice fun place with a lot of hills and lots of sand. I wouldn't recommend it while it is dry but it is a lot of fun when there has been a lot of rain or snow. I didn't think that atvs were allowed in the lakes when I was there but I may be mistaken. |

Does anyone want to send out notices of the next ride ? it seems that the above comments indicate a desire for one. I am a good follower, but alas, not much of a leader. Could someone take charge and send out notices as referenced in the initial post. }}} Thank you. |

What does it take to set one up besides setting a date? I don't see a real need for anything fancy just a place and time for everyone to meet and ride. Let everyone manage their own lodging if needed and entrance fees if required. |
