I reponded to a ride that was getting started but the last post was on feb23/05 is ti still in the works? i hope so!!!! there was talk that argo was contacted and the ride was to happen in april sometime has a date been set? when? where? hope this wasn't just talk!!!!!!!! if it fell through what was the reason? really hope this gets going and becomes an annual event. COME on guys ODG is here in ontario and we don't have any events that i know of? I personally don't care what aatv brand people have i would just love to see alot of aatvs on a fun ride with lots of mud and dirt on them and smiles on the faces of owners.lets get this thing goinglots of trails/logging roads/bush/swamp/mudholes in Ontario and if people don't USE IT THEN WE LOSE IT! I know this personally as i hunt and have seen places that were open to hunting close down because of lack of use. |

Count me in! I have been reading about the Humphry ride and looked at the badland pictures is starting to make me ill that we can't have something similar up here. No bones to pick with go state side but the exchange, border crossing and hotels may be a bit expansive on the bank roll after trailering, gas for the truck accomadations for me. Besides Ontario has great terrain, trails and miles of bush/ logging roads as S.G said. I'm with these guys keeping my hopes up that this comes through. HAPPY EASTER LONG WEEKEND GUYS. LOADING UP NOW AND HEADING FOR A WEEKEND OF SNOW/ICE/MUD. |

Hey Harry, I have never been to Gopher Dunes before. What type of trails are there? Wooded, swamp, deep river crossings ( don't like swallow rivers to many vechicles can screw the river eco-system), mud holes? How long are the trails if any? I would like to help out if I can, hope you can answer the questions above. Did you contact ODG about your ride? What did they say? Will they help? Great guys over there, fast response to any questions or difficulties. They have helped me out alot with restoration questions I have posed to them. |

Two more cents, Harry, if this flys lets promote ARGOS as it would be ODG that helps with it, but lets have it open to all AATV,s the more the marrier! I have owned and will continue to own ARGO's as they meet my needs and I BELIEVE they are the best machine out there, but there are others who would argue that other manufacturers may be better. A ll i know is that my recent dealings with ODG has confirmed my belief of customer service is first and I recieved that from ODG. Just want to see more AATV's and more AATV's and owners having fun. It would be great to have an annual event here in Ontario!!! The more GOOD publicity of AATV's the more acceptable they become, making it easier for all when it comes to insurance, trail allowances, laws regarding AATV's etc... KEEP THE OLD ONES ALIVE AND THE NEW ONES PURRING |

You can find out about Gopher Dunes on line. It's not a really big setup, but i thought it might be a good place to start out.Look it up on the net and let me know what you think. An all out atv event is a great idea I've got friends who run quads. |

It would be easier to send messages if you left your e-mail address or registered on the site. |

I've noticed that a lot of these threads are three years old! Is there any organized runs planned for 2008 here in Southern Ontario? I'm near Kingston, Ontario on Charleston Lake. |

Are there any 6 or 8 wheel clubs active in this area? We used to help run the CLA ATV club, but it fizzled a few years ago, because of lack of help in running the club. (125 members, but all quads) MichaelJ@pianomail.net |

A big Shoutout to Cam of" Argo of London" and his friend Rick in Tillsonburg for putting on an excellent ride yesterday! All the machines were Argos but we had all vintages, lots of Avengers, quite a few 8 wheel Conquests, 1 beautiful Mossy Oak 6 wheel Conquest and a Vanguard with fabulous Home Made rubber tracks and some Frontiers.. The machine with the tracks is the only one to my knowledge that DID NOT get stuck. Those young guys walked through everything as soon as the rest of us got winched out of their way! The dealer was the Only one who ran out of gas in the middle of a swamp. I hate to see grown men wimper and beg.On another note I got to meet ,the Inventer of the Bushwaker AATV, Ray. Planning another ride in November, if interested contact Cam at Argo of London. W. philip cox |

Here are a few pictures from the Victoria Day Weekend Ride here in Prince Edward County. It rained a lot and it was cold in a tent (so I hear) but we sure had fun. |
