if so then i know it will turn out ok because i know he has bin in this line of work for years,

I made a scrambler back seat once out of an automotive fiberglass resin kit. I formed cardboard into the shape and layered the glass with matt down in coats. Worked OK except it was a little bumpy. Covered it with marine grade material.
