I am looking for assistance in replacing the tires on my Penguin and Beaver. They use Goodyear Terra-Tires in 16 x 15 x 6", or 16 x 14.5 x 6" sizes. Apparently Goodyear does not make these any more, and they were the only ones who made these sizes. I am looking for any tires these sizes that are not so weather checked that they leak through the sidewalls, and that have some tread left. I would of course be interested in the stack NOS ones you might have in the basement. I have looked at adapting other size tires to these machines, but I am restricted in outer diameter because of the wheelwell, and the way the rim and axle were designed complicates things as well. If anybody has any suggestions I am all ears, and would appreciate any tips. I would also be interested in hearing what other machines used these tires. Thanx, Kevin |
