i broke mine trying to take it off a freind of mine who owns a small engine shop told me that you can order a new one from any small engine shop they just need the belt size and the shaft size. he said that type of cluch is still real common for go -cart |

Dave is right. We need to know what engine is in your Scrambler. You can't take a clutch out of a 8000 RPM 2 stroke and bolt it on a 4000 RPM 4 stroke. Just because it will fit on the shaft dosen't mean it will come in at the right RPM. There must be a million combinations with springs and weights!!!! Like Dave suggested it is best to get a clutch off the same engine. Good luck with the clutch and I hope you get that Scrambler going!!! |

It it is a torque converter type with a belt go to

Lenoard I have a scrambler too. Try contacting Jim Washburn. He was a web page with his email address in the personnal link section of route 6x6. Also Richard Burley, check under the new owner registry search by state. He lives in GA. He gives his phone number and email address. Hope this helps.

Check with Richard Burley (Mr. Scrambler) HE should be able to help you out. I know he has found a source for clutch and brake material and charges a fair price for them. Hope this helps! |
