well after going over my Skipper which ..was given to me i have discovered a malfunction in the transmission does anybody have one of these? is there a conversion ? my tranny has forward- Neutral- Reverse selector and is a rectangular box! and the left side drive hub that the steering clutch rides on is bent can this be straightened?? any tips would be appreciated

I know about SKIPPERS have some parts I'm in B.C. Canada might be able to help. Yes I straightened a brake wheel using a press.

great... i need steering brake pads and pucks for the main brake...do you have cables ( throttle & brake i succeeded in straightening the wheel engine is in great shape ..Have strong spark now just to re-align tranny remount enine and re--chain whole machine and off she will go let me know on parts stated

E-mail questions about skipper I have no small parts just a couple trans. and large parts I had new lining bonded to turning brake bands older snowmobile pucks can be (made) to fit stop brake contact - zoe@city tel.net

terry, measure up the diameter of the pucks and have Richard's Relics size you up with a match.
the last i heard he had a 10 year supply of various lengths and assortments of throttle cables.

Just picked up a skipper with no engine. Can someone tell me what engine was supposed to be in this? I'm thinking of putting a 340 kawasaki snowmobile engine in it.

i,m looking for any specs on the skipper.
I just bought it, its a 295e model with a 309 krohler motor, runs perfect. looking for a pic of the drive line, someone butchered the variable speed on this one and wondered where i could find one thanks
