sturgill, dr. joseph e. carbonator back in tha 1800's just like you got tired of srayin' fuel into the engine by hand. that is why he invented the carburator. e.c. birt of tillotson u.s. of a has the right carb kit for you. too much air and not enough fuel sounds "most definately" like too much dirt in tha carb. |

I HAVE A TILLOTSON CARB ON A JLO 292 IN MY TERRA TIGER. NO FUEL, UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATION I SAW THAT THE ALUMINUM CARB ADAPTER WAS NOT LINED UP WITH THE PORT HOLE IN THE HEAD (PROVIDES CRANKCASE PRESSURE TO DIAPHRAGM IN BOTTOM OF CARB)I HAD THE ADAPTER WELDED UP AND I REDRILLED IT FOR PROPER ALIGNMENT, MADE MY OWN CARB AND ADAPTER GASKETS, NO PROBLEM, BEEN RUNNING EVER SINCE. CHECK WITH RICHARD FOR REBUILD KIT,IF NO LUCK CHECK CENTRALSNOWMOBILE.COM |
