Does anyone know where I can pick up some temp gauges for my Superchief. I know..I know..Check with Richard. I will. Put thought perhaps someone has some used ones or knows of a source too. Also, I really want a Coot. Anyone have one for sale, I will consider any condition.

Thanks for the great site.

Bruce,

J.C. Whitney or somebody who has stuff for air colled engines should be able to help. They use to sell a Cylinder Head temp. gauge for VW's. The #3 cylinder would run hot & usually suck a valve into the cylinder. The airflow was blocked by an oilcooler. they chnaged the design later on, but I don;t hink it helped much.

yeah "plastic master", i agree with you...a marine temperature gauge will resist better the dirt and water related to noman's land voyages bouncing trips than the automotive ones...anyhow...keep on bouncing!!!

www.apskarting.com has a neet combo Tach and cylinder head temp gauge that can be adapted to your engine. The temp sensor attaches to the base of the spark plug. They have other sensors that read mph and ex gas temp also. The unit is called a Digatron.
