I've had a dry season of 6x6 restoration but I have a lot of work on my hands now. I found three older 6x6s in the paper on Friday. They were about 100 miles from me in Illinois. I picked up a nice Swamp Fox with a 16hp Tecumseh and T-20 trans. This one needs a little work but someone has already done a lot of cleaning and painting. It's a beast of a machine at 64 inches wide. I got a true classic with the second one, it looks to be a Rough Rider. It is almost completely original except the gas tank. It has six of the original one piece tires with little to no dry rot. The guy said it was running just a few years ago. He said it is a 1964. The third is a Hustler with a Kohler 440 and T-20 trans. This will probably be a parts vehicle. The engine is very nice with all the original parts. I plan to rebuild the T-20. It looks like time might have gotten the best of this vehicle. I cleaned them up a little today but that's all right now. I'll try to attach a picture of them on the trailer.
