Hello everyone, I while ago i came across a six-wheeler made by allis chalmers with a Rockwell 2 stroke engine. The ID tag is still on is but the only thing you can make out on it is that it says allis chalmers. I spent some time piecing it back together and patching holes in the fiberglass to make it float again. The problem I have is that the clutch on this thing has a bell and cone that fit into each other on each side of the first driven shaft that works as a clutch and a brake for each side, but the clutches wont engage. I see there are fiber clutch pads on the inside of the clutch bells that must be worn clear out so I was wondering if anybody knew exactly what I have and where I can get or make parts. anything you can tell me would be helpful because this is the first thing like this I've ever had. Thanks |
