Hello there, I have found 2 adds in my bargain finder and was wandering if they are good deals, firstly: Amphibious Catagator 837, steel body, Kohler 22 hp engine, runs great, good drive terrain, comes with tracks, western hydraulic p/lift $650. Then theres this one: 1971 Argo 8-wheel drie, 440, 2 stroke engine, rebuilt gearbox, new belts, $1000 which one should I go for or should I try and lower the price on any of them, your opinions would be appreciated thanks. |

I'de say argo- but only because i don't know anything about the catagators and don't know how easy it is to find parts for that machine- ARGO on the other hand, the parts are around and available, if not from ODG than many others have parts. |

I'd go for the Catagator...Mainly Because I sold them back in the Sixtys....Don't know about the 22HP...The ones we sold had a 20HP Onan or 24HP kohler...You can get most of the part local...transmission parts from OTC,Owatona,Mn...I think thats the name of the co..You can check with a Farm implement Dealer... |
