My Max4 has an 18hp 2cyl Briggs on it . Does this engine have a charging system to recharge my battery or has anyone adapted a 2nd alternater to one of these?

Since it is now getting darker earlier, has anyone added an external alternator to the Kohler Command series engines? I don't think that the internal alternator is going to keep the battery up if I do much night riding.
