Has anyone used the 20 hp Vanguard? I am considering either a briggs or a Kohler..Any opinions on either?The engine is going into a late 70`s Max 2. |

I bought a MAX II HOTROD from our Richard
two years ago He put the then new 23hp
Vanguard in it. It runs good and is pretty
fast, lots of low end power, maybe too much....Ha Ha
I would think a 20 would be real nice too.
Call Richard and see what he thinks

i have a craftsman mower with a 20hp kholer engine . it has 91 hours on it . it started smoking really bad . has oil driping out of the exhuast .has any one had any problems with this engine. |
