I saw an Argo conquest with what looked like a factory made aluminum tube enclosure over the whole vehicle with flat roof and cargo rack on top, hinged door frames and built in windshield. There didn't seem to be any provision for covering the sides, but since all panels would be flat rectangles it wouldn't be hard to build something. This looked like something that you could build with a welder, a little money and a lot of time. |

i was looking in cabela's at their soft top cabs for the four wheelers, and they seem like they would fit, or at least maybe do the job for the 6x's. anyone tried? |

I made a hard top for my max iv out of aluminum flat stock and lexan. it works great. it has doors and the corners have vinyl corners. the top is curved and so is the back. |

How much did the parts cost? Lexan isn't cheap. Thanks, Neil |

I made a hardtop out of plywood and 2x4's and it turned out o.k. Works great in cold weather.I used more expensive plexiglass for the windshield and rear window (.177 in. Lucite-tuf) and a lesser grade (.125 in.) for side windows. I took delivery of my maxll-450T on Feb. 18, 2002 and I love it so far. Does seem a bit underpowered though. I am trying to get pics of hardtop ready for you guys. Hey MAXRULES, love your website. Contact me so we can talk about hopping up 14 h.p. Briggs. Thanks, Jason |
