Use a Perma-Cool universal remote oil filter relocation kit. Worked on my ARGO Bigfoot with the 18hp Vanguard. Lets you use standard automotive oil filters that are bigger and cost less than a B&S filter. |

Jim Never seen your name here before, if you are new, then welcome. BS doe smake a oil cooler for the Vanguard, what engine are you running in what machine. We need more information to help you, some engines do not have a oil pump therefore a cooler is no good. Mike Longest |

HI MIKE, SORRY BOUT DAT! I HAVE A 1980 MAX 1V WITH THE 18 H.P. VANGUARD. I JUST BOUGHT THE MOTOR FROM RICHARD AND SHOULD GET IT MONDAY. I DO LIKE THE IDEA OF AN OIL COOLER AND REMOTE MOUNT. HAD ONE ON A DUNE BUGGY YEARS AGO AND IT WORKED GREAT. KLR SPOKE OF ONE THAT TAKES A REGULAR CAR FILTER. I'LL CHECK WITH BS AND SEE WHAT THEY HAVE. THANX, JIM |

Jim The MAX IV has it engine up high and out in open. I do not feel like it needs an oil cooler, does richard think so? He has done many of those conversions Mike Longest |
