I have been told that the difference between the two is BORE. If this is correct is there enough metal to bore the 14 to the 18 Bore?

Their is a pretty big difference between a 14 and 18- Just an assumption but are you trying to save a buck by boring out a 14 to give you 18 instead of putting in a whole new engine?
