Hello all I have been having trouble with my carb on the OH160 in my argo not idling so have a want to install a minkuni carb on it. Since I have an old TMX35 in the shed from a sled I had years ago, I thought I would use it. I got the mounting flange for it and have made brackets to control the carb with the governer. My big problem is what to use as a starting point for jetting. Has anyone installed one and what did you use as a jetting, even if it was a VM or TM carb it is a good place for me to start. |

I had the carb on a 253cc rotax single in a saffari citation. Has the changes for use with a pump and was tuned to the engine. I have a few differant main jets and second slide for it |

From a two cycle to a 4 cycle, it would need a leaner slide and much leaner jets, sorry it is way off now. I would just play with it, or better yet get a 4 cycle carb. Jeff Bar |

You did not take into account the motor is 200cc larger. I think it will work. If I have to buy more jets no big deal. There is only one needle for it and I think the slide I got spare is leaner. Four strokes also pulse slower in a carb so it won't draw as much gas. |
