Hello all I have to replace my control levers on a '82 argo 6X6. The dealer was not able to get the right ones for the unit, right hand drive set instead of left. I bought them anyway and plan to change them into a left hand set buy cutting and rewelding the ends on. The big differance I find is they are longer than my old ones by about 6-8". Does this extra length make a differance in the way it steers or should I just shorten the set when I reweld them back together? Thanks for your input. |
