Hi I got a 1997 buffalo RI and the 20 hp kolher command doesn't seem to have the power this spring after taken my tracks off this year compared to passed years.I just wandering whats gotten tried. Its been a few years since I rebuilt the trans putting new bands in it at 280 hrs now I have 449 hrs I don't think that too much ? |

I would be more suspicious of the drive belt. I know from experience a new belt makes a big difference on my machine even if the old belt doesn't look wiped out. |

dont forget they reformulate gasoline every few day's, whats with this new "nitrogen enriched"crap? nitrogen is inert, more likely they fluffed the gas up so you dont get a full gallon that you pay for. yup the gas keeps gettin poorer and poorer ibn quality every day |

todays gas also has a tendancy to soak up moisture so water in the gas is more a problem than ever. Does the engine sound like it is reving up ok ? |

I think it is the drive belt,I will have to change it ,the one I got for it is the closes to the right size as can get ,its a little shorter but I will move the engine so.Thanks |

Chris Yes belts need to be replaced every few years or with 100 hours of use Dave |
