I just finished changing the motor and trans oil in my hustler. I use a Mighty-Vac suction unit and it is awesome. I used to hoist the front my machine to drain the trans, what a pain. even the motor oil was difficult to drain. do yourself a favor and check out the Mighty-Vac bullwinkle |

Woops, I meant "Liquid-Vac" not mighty-vac, both are great however. |

i have seen 12 volt and 110 volt pumps but they cost quite a bit more. bill |

I bought a pump at the Hustler mower shop they use them for pumping out oil of the movers too. Works nice Cost 69$ |

My pump is indeed a Liqui-Vac 5 quart, as I wanted something larger. it works great, sucks the oil right out of my Vanguard It runs off vac with a had pump, no batteries, no 110V not nothing, just works Phillip Osborn LA |

Phillip sounds like the one i have. is it a pale green color? they do work great as long as the oil is not to hot because it makes the clear hose to soft and then it collapses . bill |
