Look at the last post in the "restoration of older atv's" section. A fire damaged Argo.
We should all have charged fire extiguishers in our machines. I cam remember at least two small fires I have had on lawn equipment over the years. I would be a sickening feeling to stand helplessly and watch a machine burn. bullwinkle |

Bill Good advice, not great advice, I was driving my max a few years ago, and all of a sudden I felt heat, My Max was on fire, the fuel pump was leaking and it caught fire, I do not know how, If i had not had my small halon unit, my Max would have burnt to the ground, I did buy a larger Halon unit afterwards. jack |

I have never had a halon unit. from what i have read that is the way to go bill |

great tip however i will have to keep useing my mini kiddi dry chem unit, the halon is too pricey for me |
