Have to crank a long time at cold start. If Choked, then floods. Once running, easily starts again. If throttle is touched during warm-up, engine quits. Argo Tech Support recommend new needle valve for carb. I would like to explore other options first. I just don't know any.

Paul,
Get a can of Conklin's 4 power (just do a search). Don't try just any carb cleaner or fuel additive, use "4 Power". I have been using this product for about fifteen years and have not had to get a carburetor rebuilt since as a result of bad fuel.

Put a little straight directly in your carb with the engine running (it will run a little rough) then mix it according to directions in your gas tank. One tank of "4 Powered" fuel should have you good as new.

There are several posts by me in other parts of this board pertaining to using "4 Power".

Fred and Paul Great advice I will try to remember it.

Paul , if that does not fit your carb, try cleaning it, there are directions on this website under header "HOW-TO"
