It should be worth at least that much- another 7000 just sold on ebay for $600. If you buy it and want some information on it, I've got some of the Attex literature that covers it that I can email to you. Don |

Thanks Larry and Don for thr fast answers. you guys are the best. do you all think it would work in a Terra Tiger, I know some folks have put the T20 in, but this is available at a good price and still has the clutch on it too Thanks Again Steve Chansler |

I've seen the T20/Terra Tiger swaps, and I've also seen the 6000 transmission (like the 7000 only no reverse) in a Scrambler, so if you've got the patience and the skill, I'm sure this tranny would work for you. Good luck with the project. Don |

Steve I had one of those years ago, seem to remember it working as you said, it locked one dics up and therefore it drove the other, you used this to steering and braking, seemed to reverse when you were in reverse, if equipped |

Hey, Steve; It's a real simple transmission: There's a set of plantetary gears in between the discs and the levers in the calipers work an eccentric. Push the lever forward and in locks the inside disc which puts power to the outside disc, putting power to the wheels on that side. Pull the lever back and it locks the outside disc that has the sprockets welded to it, stopping the wheels on that side. Putting it in reverse sends the power through another set of planetaries in the center pumpkin to change direction, but the levers work the same way. Parts aren't too much of a problem, as the bearings are still available and Richard sells the brake "pucks" for the calipers. Don |
