I bought this 6x6 track unit I have been unable to find any info on it, it says mastertrac and is powered by a kohler magnum 18hp, when I got it there was no lightbar that I added. |

Hey Mark Welcome aboard;what can you tell us about the tracks on this machine? They appear to have roller chain or similar with formed flat bar attached. How well do they work? Did they come with your machine?Looks nice. |

They seem to go over the tires no roller chains, the machine seems to go thru anything, I have not tried it in water but I am pretty sure it will not float. The only history I know about it is AT&T used it at one time for fixing lines in the winter. Thanks, Mark |

Mark I did some searching on line, but failed to find any thing, mostly electronic this or that.Didn't check on ebay, mainly because ebay hits no matter what you search. To prove this to a friend of mine I once typed bugger sandwich in the box,hit search and sure enough you can buy buggers on ebay.I thought I would have to dial 911 and get him a scrip for his fits of laughter. But anyway your toy doesn't seem to have a tub so it probably will not float as you already said-dang the bad luck- but on the plus side it does appear to have a joystick.Does that mean hydrostatic drive? It is hydrostatic drive, it seems to be set up like a skidsteer, it has a 20 ton pintle hitch on the back and it seems to have plenty of pulling power. I searched for it every which way I could think of. The closest I seem to be able to get to it is the military 6x6 atv's. I have also been unable to locate any plates other than the ones on the engine. I did manage to find another sticker that says "carraway multi-vehicle mv-1" Hopefully that might ring a bell. Mark |

Mark, I'm still getting nothing. You might try asking some of the at&t guys if they have any recollection of the machine in service. They may even know where and or when it came into use. G |
