The drive belt on my Max II broke and I need a replacement. I read all the pertinent message threads on Max II drive belts on the discussion board but that only left me unsure as to which drive belt is the right one.

I am not the original owner of my Max II so I am unsure the age but the serial number is 7319. The engine was changed over to a B&S 18-HP Vanguard shortly before I purchased it. Can anyone advise we on the correct drive belt. The old belt had no markings on it.

Dayco max1039 you can find it online or go to napa and have them cross reference.
There is one on ebay now for $29. Recreatives price is $60.
