Has anybody ever glued there Wheels to the rims? What has the outcome been? |

I have used permatex high tack, in a can on argo wheels. Also recommended it to a 4 wheeler guy who had a spinning tire on wheel problem. Fixed his problem. Mineral spirits or thinner will dissolve it and let you clean it up. I |

No problem with the glue on aluminum. Guess it depends on what you want the glue to do. I thought it might keep the bead on the wheel, or seal bead leaks from a worn bead. |

Len, I've only put it on my front tires, and the outside beads are bolted to the wheels with machine screws and nuts, so it couldn't come off anyway. I guess what I'm saying is I can't say if it helps. My idea is that some bead losses happen after they get "lubricated" and pushed around in mudholes, etc. The nice part is the easy cleanup with thinner if you have to dismount. |
