Terry, I have a pair mounted on rims that fit my max II. They do help some. I tried using them on the front and rear axles.They seem to perform best for me on the middle axle. For mud use they work better on the rear. However when using in the mud or just general riding they will throw a rooster tail of dirt about 10 feet behind the machine. They make no difference in sand use because wheel speed is not fast enough. They will dig a hole pretty quick in mud.
