This upgrade is money well spent if you plan on keeping your ARGO or using it for alot of hours.I done this to my CONQUEST and now my AVENGER.Though it is not a factory option as of yet it is done with factory parts.

Steve, How much is the cost per axle for the bearing extender, gasket, outer flange etc? did you get them from an argo dealer or direct from argo? Mike |

The cost was about $100.00 per axle for the extension/gasket/5 bolts and nylocks nuts. The bearing, seal flange and axle are all the same.Momobigfoot if you have an older argo I recommend using the AVENGER/FRONTIER extension on the older machines because the support is more centered and does not interfere inside when bolted on. Here is a close-up of my conversion on my CONQUEST!

Steve, I was wondering if it were possible to do something. If you have a flange you haven't installed yet could you trace the mounting area and mounting holes and mabey scan it and send it to me. I'm not sure if the size would remain the same. I'm thinking of putting these in the corners of my max IV. I spoke to RI last week about using their bearing cages and the parts guy recomended not using theirs without the cage brace because they only mount to the existing holes and therefore would be not a strong. The problem they have is because of the brace the wheels have to be extended out 3 " for tire clearence. So in actuallity your only gaining 1 " of support. So I'm considering using the argo system as well as the outer flanges for water proofing. Mike |

MIKE-an easy way to get the size is go to any ARGO dealer and ask for the cork gasket for the seal flange they always have them in stock for $1 or 2 part #605-89.If you want the size of the bearing extension housing the cork gasket part #606-25. |

Don't know what I was thinking, that's the outer surface I gave you. You really do need a tracing or a part. Sounds like a lot of work. |
