I read of the briggs website that they have a high output altenator for their engines. Has anyone done this? If so how difficult was it, cost, problems encountered etc
I don't know and am still guessing. I've seen the bigger wire coils and they talk about stronger magnets(which are built into the flywheel). Probably expensive if it would fit, would be nice to scavenge off a junk engine.
I wrote about this a month ago. I am in the process of finding out if this will work. I have given my info to a local briggs dealer and they will get back to me with some feedback. I'll let everybody know what they say.
