Hi I am thinking of replacing the 18 hp tecumseh engine in my argo. I was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions on what make of engine to replace this engine with. What size of motor would you suggest?. What one fit in with out to many modifications. Wiil there be a problem with getting the clutche to fit on a newer style motor. Hope some one can help me out thanks ernie

Richard Clark the owner of this site would be an excellent source of information and engines. I'd give him a call and see what he can do for you. There are some mid-twnety HP engines available that would drop right in.
