I'm a newbie to the board and don't own a 6x6 or 8x8...yet! However, I'm investigating these. I live in Oregon, and I would like to use the machine on the sand dunes( we have huge areas, high dunes, sand as fine as sugar, and pot holes on the dunes containing huge bodies of water. Would the sand/water mixture be a bad thing for the bearing causing pre-mature failure? I have atc350x's and 200x's that we ride but we stay away from water as the sand/water slurry eats up bearings and chains FAST! Next, the mountains with snow is only 1.5 hours away. If one has tracks on the machine, whether it's an argo or maxx, can I go on the snow where the snowmobiles go? Some times we have a little snow 4-5 feet and other times we can get 8ft of snow. Naturally you could have drifts or pockets where it could be really deep. Will the tracks allow me to float over it?

Skip, Your generosity is proof again that 6 and 8 wheelers are more dedicated to our sport than the average quad driver can beleive. Carl , that has to be the best offer you're likely to get. Thanks for promoting our sport. W. Philip

Skip, hey thanks for the great offer. Let's keep in touch on this and see if we can pull this off. Are you on vacation passing through? Lapine is about three hours from me as I'm in Albany. Lapine State camp ground is one of our favorite camping area. Where are you planning to ride over there? I'm not familar with any atv areas wide enough for an argo..mainly dirt bike trails.

Hey you guys, I'm right on the Oregon Coast. Read Coos Bay. Just acquired two almost working Terra Tigers and plan on playing with them on the 40 miles of sand dunes in my backyard! Anybody interested in coming to the coast?

Skip,

I am swamped until later this month, and I still need to get the tigers running to the point that I won't be getting towed back. But I really would like to arrange something. I am hoping that it will do well in the sand. I hope to try it out this weekend.
