Does anyone know if the lateral springs are needed? I removed mine and like the ease at which I can control it.Will this cause damage to the T-20 in this mode? Thanks. |

You don't have to have them on the machine. Just remember you will need to use forward pressure on them to go forward. If you have the habit of parking it in reverse you won't have the benefit of the springs applying the brakes. I also like the feel without the heavy spring pressure. I keep them on the machine but loosen them up so they are not very tight in a neutral position. A person can also go with a lighter spring. |

if you have seat belts you can still get the benafit of parking brakes by belting them back in forward gear, like i used to do in my attex. this is an aspecaly good plan for any people who will own both max and attex vehicles, this way they can get used to same driveing style for both type machines. (this may mark the end of confustion as we know it) |

Thanks Jerry and Dave. I also had an Attex once upon a time. Don't remember the model though. It didn't have springs on the laterals but I recall it was'nt a T-20 either. I also split the gear shifter so I shift both sides of the T-20 independently. The manuverability is amazing. Thanks for the info. |
