I've recently purchased a 91 Argo Magnum with the 18hp Kohler engine. No manual came with it, of course. I've downloaded the engine manual from Kohler website so I know where the drain plug(s?) are, but how in the world do you get to them? I can see no way a normal human can reach them, or get a pan to catch the oil to fit in there. Any tips would be most appreciated |

Get an oil siphon pump and drain it back out through the dipstick tube. |

Pull the firewall (at the very bottom their is a thing you twist to remove it, pull it out from the bottom. Then you can access the bottom front of the machine. Cut down a jug from washer fluid or something, cut to the right height and let it drain into the container. Another way is a large ziploc bag, they fit easily because they can go to any shape. |

I stuck my head in a little further and realized the situation isn't quite as hopeless as I thought. I should be able to get the oil change off the checklist easier than greasing than the bearings with those tracks in the way. |

Well I don't know where Fuzz is but some of us have mountians that still have deep snow to contend with so the tracks are still a must. |
