I put 20 inch rubber tracks on my 1995 Conquest and find the power lacking a little.Does any one know of a power upgrade that may be available for this motor. |

You can put one of the big block 25 to 29 HP engines in it but it is not a direct change out. We just put a 25 HP in a Conquest and had so far good power response. The motor mount needs to be modified and the wiring will not directly change over. The challenge would be the same for the 25HP and the 27HP the EFI 29 is a different duck completely. We can give you some help if you are serious about doing it. 25 HP new is around $2000.00 depending where you get it. |

Andre, How easy are those tracks to take on & off? I've got a 97 Conquest with the 18" plastic supertracks. It takes me about a 1/2 to put them on. |

ED,The Rubber tracks are difficult to install. Therefore I install in the fall and remove late spring.I also have the 18 inch plastic tracks and they are easy compared to the rubber.I would drive into them, remove air from front and rear tires, sinch the joint useing straps and tap the rod into the joint and tighten the allen screw. The rubber tracks are one piece. You must jack up the argo at least 10 inches and place on sturdy stands.Remove air from front and rear tires.Have an asistant operate the throttle and brake while you force the track onto the front tire and roll it into place.I would imagine this could get easier over time with practice. But the rubber tracks are outstanding,I can now climb steep hills, good in slush, ice, snow, its my little bulldozer.I love it. Andre, Thanks for the update. I hear that the new rubber tracks for thr Argo Avenger have a "link" that makes putting them on & off easier. There just so expensive! |

for your rubber tracks get the link kit. Basically you cut the rubber track in half and install a link that connects the 2 pieces with a pin. It is really slick. now you can just drive on or off. Takes around 10 minutes. I had my dealer put them on. I think the kit itself costs around 130$ |
