I need info on how to bleed the brake system on a new bigfoot. I have some issues with the left brake.
Thanks
Chuck

First you must use only silicon fluid. Second the bleeder is on the top of the brake caliper, 10mm wrench I think. Pump the lever against the plunger a few time until you have reached the max pressure, hold the pressure, open slowly the bleeder until the plunger collapses in the master cylinder, do not let the plunger back out while the bleader is open!!!!, repeat a few times, the last time just pump and leave, if you have not seen any air bubbles might be something else wrong. Ideal way is with a pressure bleeder but we have done it this way and it works. The new steering system is a bit different then the levers but you can get it done.

Thanks for the info. The reason i am wanting to try this is because the machine doesnt always go to the left. But if i lef the bar go straight and then turn back to the left it usually turns. This started after it would not turn to the left at all and i took it to the dealer, that time it ended up being that the bracket that keeps the plungers inline was bent back holding the plunger in. the dealer bent it back out and said thats why it wasnt turning. It worked after that at his shop, but ever since that night when i went to unload, it has not always turned to the left. Anybody got any other ideas? Will let you know if bleading the brakes helps when i try it.

If the shoe has been real hot because the plunger was stuck in the shoe may be glazed. Sounds like he needs to re-adjust the plungers in the master and check the shoes

Took the argo to the dealer yesterday. Got the brake issue taken care of. They ended up replacing the Master cylinder for the left brake. Steering feel a lot better and braking is better.
Thanks
Chuck
